Nomi has no access to the database, on purpose: your workforce data stays in nomin. When Nomi needs a figure, it asks nomin through a closed tool, and nomin always calculates it the same way.

Names are swapped for pseudonyms before anything leaves: "Laia" travels as [E7Q2].

Nomi chooses among closed, read-only tools, each for one specific question. It writes no queries, sees no tables and cannot change anything.

Totals, differences and rankings come from confirmed payroll, with the same rules as the payslip. The same question gives the same figure.

Why we don't let the AI calculate
A language model can get a sum wrong, and can give two different figures for the same question. Payroll cannot allow that. So nomin's tools calculate deterministically, with the same code as the payslip, and Nomi only explains the result.
Your workforce data never leaves with a name
Read how we protect it under Security- Pseudonyms to the provider. No names, CASS numbers or IBANs.
- Never a person's health. Sick leave only in aggregate.
- Read only. Nomi cannot change anything in the company: a person saves what it suggests.
- The key is yours. Encrypted in nomin; the contract is between you and the provider.
- You choose what leaves. The owner can switch off, company by company, the data Nomi sends to the provider.
- Everything is logged. The owner sees who asked what.

Why do I have to add my own key?
So that the data processing contract is directly between your company and the provider, and you choose where the data goes. nomin does not resell tokens.
Can Nomi get a figure wrong?
Nomi does not produce the figures: nomin calculates them and Nomi quotes them. Every answer includes "How it was calculated".
Who can use Nomi?
Anyone with director access to the company. Employees cannot.
Can I try it without a key?
During the trial you get the full Avançat plan for 14 days; to ask Nomi you need a key from your provider. Creating one takes a few minutes.
